A high-end luxury goods retailer in Swindon is looking for a Japanese speaking professional to join a small multilingual and multicultural customer service team to provide excellent customer support to the Japanese market. This role is based in a smart office and logistics centre in Swindon with easy access to the M4 and A419 and would be suitable for travel from Cirencester, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol and Reading.
You will be responding to online enquires and phone calls from Japan from both new and existing customers, working 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Please note that this is a maternity cover for 12 months.
Main duties of the role are:
- Handling inbound calls in a professional non-scripted manner
- Following up enquiries
- Replying to emails
- Placing orders on SAP
- Advising on bespoke personalised products
- Excellent spoken and written Japanese
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Experience of Japanese culture
- Personable on the phone
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Experience in an office or telephone role
You must be able to proactively learn about the high end products in order to be able to answer questions about them.
